Obituary of MaryJane Boice

MaryJane Boice, went to be with the Lord and the love of her life, Gil, on August 17, 2017 at age 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gil, her brother, Bill Maxwell and her son-in-law, Daniel Kamler. She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her children: Kathy (Peter) Reeser, Diane (Mike) Billy, Denise (Perry) Riley, Gayle (Ken) Stratton, Annemarie Boice, Paula Straight, Cathy Boice, and Brian Boice; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren as well as her siblings: Shirley Gibson and Earl Maxwell. Janie had so much love to share. She spent her life caring for children; those she raised, adopted, fostered and babysat. A Memorial Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Interfaith Chapel at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton RD S). Inurnment will take place at Bath National Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made in Janie’s name to Kirkhaven Nursing Home, 254 Alexander St. Rochester 14607.
