Obituary of Marilyn Mae Harmon

Marilyn Mae Harmon of ochester: Born October 17, 1924 and died August 27, 2017. 

Predeceased by her parents Isabel and Olin Harmon; brother William Harmon; and former husband John Coon. Survived by children Anne Coon (Craig Zicari), William (Denise) Coon, and Linda (Kim) Campbell; grandchildren Sarah (Nicholas) Perlet, David Coon, Matthew Coon, Lucais (Stacey) Campbell, Ella (Michael) Trzesniewski, and Philippa Campbell; and six great-grandchildren.

Marilyn was a proud graduate of RIT, class of 1945. She was an enthusiastic traveler, successful business owner, interior decorator, and artist. Her love of color and design endured to the end of her life. She will be deeply missed by her family, who wish to sincerely thank the staff of The Friendly Home for their kindness and professionalism.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 3, at 3 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses at 1227 Calkins Rd., Rochester, NY. A burial service will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester, NY, on Thursday, September 7, at 3 pm. Please meet at the Main Gate for directions to the gravesite.
