I will never forget my Aunt Eileen who was there for my birth, never missed my birthday growing up, and was always kind, loving, interested in others, and full of good humor and playfulness. I also know that as much as she was there for me throughout my life, even more so she was there for her little sister, and my Mom, Helen. Thank you Aunt Eileen for your generous love. My wife Diana and I will never forget her decision to come all the way to Vancouver with Bud for our wedding in 2006. We were overjoyed to have her there, and we understood how difficult it was for them to make that trip. But you never would have known it. Diana and I regret we were unable to attend Eileen's funeral services, but we extend our deepest condolences to Eileen's family. Sending you our love, Aunt Eileen. See you in Heaven.

My husband, John, and I met Eileen while visiting my father, Roland Van Der Beck. She always had a big smile and warm welcome. She brought much joy to my father in the last few years. We extend our best wishes to her family about whom we have heard many good things.
Rest in peace, Eileen.

To the Angels in Heaven: I know that you have greeted my lovable sister-in-law with open arms. Helen and I shall miss her bright smile, positive attitude in good and difficult times, sense of humor, concern for all relatives and friends. And willing to travel great distances for family events, courageously and with a strong sense of humor, coping with health issues at the same time. Tears fall on my keyboard as I view her picture in this tribute. Dear Eileen: Save a place near you when, hopefully, I join you in Heaven. Your brother-in-law and in-love,
Fred Sarkis

Lynda, Jeff and family,
Your mom was just the best! Always upbeat and always so interested in everyone. She was so loved by all of us as such a dear dear person. The friendship mom and Auntie Eileen had was so long and an example of love and support so lacking today in so many ways. We have wonderful memories of holiday's together, working at the store, weddings etc. Someone once told me that when your mom dies there will always be a little hole in your heart forever. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. With love
Nancy
