Obituary
Obituary of Frederick James Collins
Frederick Collins passed away while surrounded by family on September 22, 2017 at the age of 83.
Frederick was a fighter. He passed after a long battle with cancer but never let it take away his quick wit and humor. His frequent declaration to live until 104 just to “piss his daughters off” was just one example of his fiery Irish character. He was proud of his Irish heritage. He was proud of his 25 plus years working for Xerox and his time served in the Military. He worked as an Army Paratrooper during the Korean War. His vibrant personality and knack for telling stories will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Frederick is survived by his Daughters: Shannon (Brad Cadwell) Collins and Erin (Jason) Maxwell, PhD; Grand-children: Devon Collins, Jeffrey Wyman and baby Cadwell on the way and Kaylin, Jason and Ava Maxwell; Sisters: Kathleen (Bill) Enright, Maureen (Ronald) Smith and Marlene "Beepsie" (Frank) Ciulla, Brother-in-Law, Johnny Diaz as well as many other family members and an abundance of friends.
He was predeceased by his Brother, Ken Collins and Sister, Evalyn Diaz.
