Obituary of Frances E. Flannery

Formerly of Ithaca, passed away on September 27, 2017 at age 99.  She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Flannery; brother, Clair Fairfield; parents Frank and Esther Fairfield, and daughter-in-law, Jeannette Flannery (Bartholf) of Traverse City, MI. She is survived by her 6 children, Robert (Marlene), Michael (Barbara), Frank (Gail), Kitty Flannery, Esther (Frank) Kerwin and Amy (Matt) Petro.  She is also survived by 15 cherished grandchildren and 19 treasured great-grandchildren.  
Frances was supremely brave, strong, smart, kind, and tolerant. She never shied away from a challenge.  She loved life, and was loved by all.  Frances wanted her children to live their own lives and enjoy their families, just like she did.  
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of her life on SATURDAY (9/30/17) at 2:00 PM in the Interfaith Chapel at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd. So.) Interment private
