Rochester: February 27, 2010 went to be with her Lord at age 84. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Kraft Hinkley and daughter Beverly Wise. She is survived by children, Cathy (William) Westerfeld, David Hinkley, Rhonda (John) Erbel, Renée Reeves & future son-in law John Seem; beloved sister Vera (George) Glasow, brother-in law Arthur Hinkley; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
Bettie graduated with an Associates Degree from Rochester Business Institute. She retired after 19 years of service in Industrial Engineering at Eastman Kodak. Bettie was an active long time member of North Baptist Church and Edgewood Free Methodist Church. She was a member of the Jane Austin Society, as well as numerous organizations that reflected her love of Rochester's history, the Arts, gardening and the advancement of medical research.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, 2:00 - 4:00 & 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Miller Funeral Homes, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd. So.) Funeral services will be celebrated Saturday, 11:30 AM at Edgewood Free Methodist Church (250 Edgewood Ave., Click for a Map to Church) Interment will be held privately.
