Obituary of Nina Renea Gray

On October 2, 2017 at age 82. Predeceased by her husband, Owen Bertram Brown, Jr.; her parents and dear friends, Nettie Rickert and Phyllis Connors. Survived by her daughters, Holly E. (Annette) Brown, Terri Sue (Cindy) Gray and Cori L. (Harry) Pownall; grandsons; Nathan V. Pownall and Griffin D. Brown. In 1977, Nina became the first nursing student to graduate Valedictorian at Nassau Community College. She was passionate about life, friendships and her nursing career. Outside her love for her family, Nina enjoyed reading, eating good Italian food and spending time at the beach. She will be remembered by all for her compassion for others in life.
