Benitez, Sister Maria  Milagros O.C.D.
Sister of the Carmelite Order; she entered into rest with the Lord on October 5, 2017 at age 91. After six years as a Sister of St. Joseph, she entered the Carmelite Order on October 7, 1959, received her Habit on October 10, 1959 and made her Solemn Profession on October 11, 1960. She is survived by her Sisters of the Carmel of Rochester.

Sister will lie in State, in the Chapel at the Carmelite Monastery (1931 West Jefferson Road), on MONDAY (10/9/17) from 4:00 – 8:30 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on TUESDAY (10/10/17) in the Chapel at the Monastery at 7:30 AM. Bishop Salvatore R. Matano presiding. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
