Obituary of Brendan C. Ryan

Brendan Christopher Ryan, Rochester: At the age of 33 passed peacefully in his sleep on October 20th. Predeceased by his grandparents, Michael and Mary Jane Ryan; aunts Cheryl Ryan and Mary Grace Ryan. Survived by his loving parents, Kevin and Pamela; younger siblings Shawna Lee and Dana; grandparents, Martin and Helen Agnew; many uncles and aunts: Michael (Kathy) Ryan, Tim (Mary) Ryan, Anne McCullough, Patty (Jamie) McDonough, Terry (Trudy) Ryan, Jeannie Ryan, Dan Ryan, Cindy (Chris) Rau, Jo Ann (Bill) Wheatley, Kathy (Mark) Relyea; along with many cherished cousins and an endless amount of lifelong friends. Brendan's voice carried songs, love, conversation, and laughter. His truest gift was in making others feel present. He created a community of friends wherever he was; he had a knack for including others whether it was his closest friend or someone he had just met. His powerful positivity was most evident in his love for family, friends, music and in his steadfast support for the Buffalo Bills. He was someone you could talk with for hours about anything from the most serious to the most silly. All our lives are better for knowing him. He will be dearly missed.
