Obituary of Liam Howard McNamara

Liam Howard McNamara Passed away suddenly at home, October 27, 2017 at age 61. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary E. and Bernard E. McNamara.; brother, Patrick. Liam is survived by his brother, Sean (Ruth) McNamara of Louisville KY; his sister, Deirdre (Robert) Dalton of E. Berne NY; niece, Siobhan McNamara; nephew, Shane (Erin) McNamara; two great nieces, Willow and Autumn; step-nephew, Michael Dempsey; step-brother, John Tyler; beloved aunts and uncles, his many, many loving cousins and a host of dear, dear friends. Liam was a lifelong Rochestarian and the life of the party. There were sure to be smiles where ever Liam went. Liam enjoyed life and being with people. He was actively involved in Boy Scout Troop 31 for several decades. He was also very active at Saint Boniface Church, both as a choir member and volunteer at the weekly coffee hour. Liam also loved sports. He was a bowler, a golfer and a softball player and he enjoyed being an umpire for the Rochester city school girls' softball teams. Liam's smile, generous nature and easy manner will be missed by us all. We were blessed to have him in our lives. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 2nd from 4-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Liam's Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 3rd at 10AM in Saint Boniface Church, 330 Gregory Street. Interment will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Saint Boniface Church (330 Gregory Street, Rochester, New York 14620) or the Boy Scouts of America, Seneca Waterways Council (2320 Brighton Henrietta Town Line Rd, Rochester, NY 14623)
