Obituary of Alverne L. Brown
Alverne L. Brown "Al" Rochester: Passed away on November 9, 2017 at age 86. He was predeceased by his son, Jonathan Brown; sister, Lavina Brody. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sharon Brown; children, Terry (Chris) Brown, Mary Beth Artuso, Sarah (Steve) Wasserman; step-son, Eric (Susie) Magoffin; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and many dear friends, especially Hon. Donald Mark, a friend of 57 years. Al was a proud Marine Corps. Veteran of the Korean War, was involved with many Veterans Organizations, past commander of the Cooper-Marine Post #603, and was a Realtor and Home Builder in Rochester for many years. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, November 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South, where services will be held in the Interfaith Chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday, November 14th at 11AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow at White Haven Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.Tuesday
