Dear Amy & family,
"Oh," I said out loud when I saw your Mom's lovely face smile out from the obit page. Strangely I've been thinking of her the past few weeks wondering how she was and how she was doing.
Your Mom was such a pleasant person, friendly. Talked to me about regular things besides school. I would have liked to have known her better as a person instead of "one of my kid's parents." I think I ran into her a few times after you left 5th/6th grade. and as a realtor somewhere. She made such a fond impression. You and your family have lost someone truly special.
Did your Dad support the Cardiac Rehab facility at Unity? It's that photo that brings your Mom to mind when I'm using the gym there.(Fortunately I don't have heart issues but just use the gym facility.)
Congratulations on also marrying an Irishman ( that shortened our maiden names) and so happy to see you have 2 children. Your Mom must have been a fabulous grandma.

Patti, Amy and family, we have walked a similar path with our Moms, and I'm glad that Ellie is now at peace. Such a sweet, warm woman, who I was blessed to know for so long, it's hard to imagine a world without Mrs. Hockenbrock. I know I speak for my entire family and my Mom when we wish you strength and love as you make your way through this time. I know Ellie is smiling on you from above.
