Obituary of Ruth Virginia Mazur

3/6/1923-11/28/2017 Ginny passed away peacefully with family at her side following a brief illness. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Nicholas and her cherished granddaughter, Jessica Panzer. She is survived by her children, Nancy (Bob) Panzer and Peter (Mary) Mazur and her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Nicholas and Christopher Mazur and Allison (Luis Torres) Panzer and Jeffrey (Yvette Hale) Panzer. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many other family members and friends. Ginny was born in Amityville, NY and lived for most of her life in Massapequa, NY. She loved to read, travel, listen to country music, and play cards including bridge and solitaire. She and her husband traveled widely and they built a second home in Vermont, which remains a favorite family gathering place. Family and friends are invited to calling hours at Miller Funeral & Cremation Services (3325 Winton Rd S), 4-6 pm, Friday, 12/1/2017. There will be a Funeral Service at Christ Church in Pittsford (36 So Main St.) Saturday, 12/2/2017, 1 pm.
