Obituary of Carmelo Gullace

Dr. Carmelo Gullace passed away peacefully on November 30, 2017, at the age of 89, with family at his side. Dr. Gullace was born in Ferruzzano, Italy in the province of Reggio Calabria in 1928. He received his medical degree from the University of Florence, Italy. In 1960, Dr. Gullace moved with his wife Hilary to the United States, where he became a citizen and settled in Rochester, New York. He spent his career as a Neuro Psychiatrist at the Rochester Psychiatric Center, where he held varied positions including Chief of Psychiatry. Dr. Gullace is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hilary Gullace, and by his three children and six grandchildren.
