We have known Karen since her teenage years on the Church of the Nazarene Iowa District. What an example of humility, poise, and confidence in her Lord throughout her entire lifetime.
Heaven is richer, for sure.

When the Lord said "Love thy neighbor!" Karen Blankenship did just that! She was more than a neighbor she was a my second mom, a friend, a confidant, just a Phenomenal woman. They were the reason why we chose to build our home here. My heart aches so much, but I know she is at peace... I will continue on feeding the hummingbirds that were so protective of you Mrs. Karen! I love you until we meet again!

My dear younger cousin, Karen. She came down to visit often from Iowa City to Chariton with her parents. It was always a fun and very special time when our Aunt & Uncle and cousins (Karen & Steven) came to visit. Such a sweet spirit Karen had and such a kind soul. I'm sure many many people experienced her sweet spirit though out her grown up years. Blessings on Mark and her son's families as they "Celebrate" her life. LOVE from Karen's cousin, Sonja.

Karen was a beautiful person. She always exemplified godliness and was so kind to everyone. We traveled together in a singing group at MNU and I enjoyed being around her. May peace be with the family as they try and figure out life from her.
