Obituary of Phi T. Vo

At age 61 after a long battle with MS, Phi Vo died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Phi is survived by her son Trong, his wife Vien Chau, their two daughters Michelle and Haley, her daughter My Trinh, fiancé Van, their daughter Sophia, and her daughter Tu Trinh, along with many nieces, nephews and close friends. Phi was born in Ben Tre, Vietnam in 1956 and was predeceased by her parents An and Chan. Phi immigrated to the United States with her three children in February 1999, where she spent the rest of her life in Lyons, New York. Known for her passion in art and nature, Phi always kept orchids, her favorite flower. Some of Phi's favorite hobbies were crafts such as beading, crocheting, and knitting. Phi held deep pride for her three grandchildren who brightened up her day whenever they were together. Phi quietly and positively touched the lives of those she met. She was loved by many in both her home country and adopted country. Phi will be greatly missed.
