I too was a volunteer driver for ABVI and remember very well when Margaret first joined our ranks. She was always so perky and sharply dressed--and in her high heels!! And had such a wonderful sense of humor.
We had kept in touch, and I know her last few years were not good ones.
She was ready to go and is now at peace.

As a social worker for ABVI, I had the privilege of knowing and working with Margaret! She was a wonderful volunteer with her many skills and talents. Margaret was a little spitfire, and I shall always remember her decorating tip: You must always have a little purple in each room for interest! She shall be missed.

I was a neigbor of Margaret's in the late eighties and early nineties. No one loved life more or was thankful for what they had, more than Margaret. She truly treasured her family and friends. I feel truly blessed to have been a friend of Margaret's.

I was volunteer coordinator at ABVI. Margaret was a wounderful volunteer for the agency. She drove people who were blind to doctors appointments, and to social functions. She was always friendly, and participated in all the groups. I want her friends to know that I will miss her very much.
