Obituary of Jane T. Mileo

Jane J. Mileo (Montesano) Pittsford: Passed away on March 14, 2018 at age 92. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 67 years, Joseph J. Mileo. She is survived by her sister, Rose Tanzi; children, Elaine Jackson, Steve (Sheena) Mileo, JoEll (Patrick) Cunningham; grandchildren, Matthew, Tara, Sabrina, Danica & Audrey; nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Jane attended Monroe Community College for two years and went to work as a bank cashier and vault custodian. She then became a very successful homemaker. Jane was active in volunteer work, having devoted many hours of service to the American Red Cross, Monroe Community Hospital and several ministries at St. Louis Church in Pittsford. She was also involved in a knitting group at St. Catherine of Siena in Mendon where the members knit shawls for women who have breast cancer. In her spare time, she collects and creates recipes for fine dining, and like her husband, Joseph, she enjoys the theatre, POP concerts and travel. No Prior Calling Hours. Family and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 28th at 11AM in Saint Louis Church, 64 South Main Street, Pittsford. Entombment to follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
