Obituary of Margaret "Peggy" A. Wegman

On March 28, 2018 at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her devoted husband of 70 years, Linus M. Wegman, (12/15/17); infant son, Linus; brother, John Prendergast and sister, Mae Prendergast. Survived by her 11 children; John, George, Robert (Adrienne), Sr. Mary Fran Wegman, RSM, Nancy (Paul) Hogan, Paul (Dr. Susan), James (Michele), Joseph (Annemarie), Michael (Susan), Anne (David) DiCesare and David (Dr. Theresa); 28 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Dolores Voellinger and Helen Wegman. 


Peggy was a devoted and caring mother, long-time member of St. Anne Church and a 1st Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps during WWII. 


Friends may call WEDNESDAY from 4-7 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Road South). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on THURSDAY at St. Anne Church, (1600 Mt. Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620). Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
