Obituary of Annette Daisy Sutton
Annette D. Sutton, passed away at age 84 on April 18th 2018 at Shore Winds Nursing Home in Rochester, NY after a long battle of heart issues and diabetes. She was born on July 5th, 1933 in Georgetown, South Carolina to Isaac and Mary Green. As a young adult she moved to Rochester, N.Y. and began her career as an X-Ray Technician at Genesee Hospital. It was there she met Frederick Sutton and their relationship grew until the day he asked her to marry him. They were married on November 11th, 1967 and after a trying pregnancy that took her out of work for 5 months, they had a son Frederick Jr.
In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Kane, Shae, Bria and Cameron. She didn't get to see her other grandchildren Jessica and Jason as much as she would have liked due to proximity, but she still loved them all the same. She may not have shown it all the time, but Gramma loved all her babies. She also enjoyed cooking, going to church and the public market with her "riding partners", her nieces Suzanne Lawson and Lillie Mitchell. Annette will be missed dearly by friends and family in the U.S. and Canada.
She is survived by her husband and son.
"Don't grieve for me; for now I am Free. I followed the path God laid to see. I took God's hand when I heard him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found God's peace at the close of this day. Perhaps this time seems all to brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me GOD WANTED ME NOW, GOD SET ME FREE!!!"
"Mom, now you can see grandma, grandpa, your brothers, sisters and Max again! I miss you but I know you're happy and healthy up in Heaven with the family! I love you"
