Obituary of George E. Moore

Died April 30th at the age of 86. Devoted husband of 62 years to Janet Goodberlet. Beloved father to Jack (Kathy), Susan (John) Gould, Mary Louise (Thomas, Sr.) Tirabassi, George, Jr. (Brenda) and Fredrick. Loving Grandpa to sixteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers Oliver (Gail) and Henry (Patricia), sister, Minnie Smyth, sister-in-law, Patricia, and many nieces and nephews. Born in Cork, Ireland, George is predeceased by his parents William and Rose Moore and his brothers, Joseph, William and Martin and his sister, Kitty Thomas. George worked for Friden and Xerox until he retired to help build the family business, Gro-Moore Farms. George was a friend to many and will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass and celebration of life to be held at St. Marianne Cope Parish at St. Joseph’s Church, 1209 Rush West Rush Road, Rush, New York on Monday, May 7th at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Maplewood Cemetery, 150 Middle Road, Henrietta, New York.
