To all Herbs family,
This is from Wake Forest, NC. My sister Carol saw the obituary notice and forwarded it to me. I had talked to him several weeks ago, so I knew he had been having strokes and had to leave the apartment. -- I just want to tell you all how much I appreciated the time we spent together in the 1990's playing golf mostly but having breakfasts and lunches together, traveling on golf outings, etc. Herb was a wonderful person, always a gentleman. Always the same. Loved by all. But above all else the love for his family showed through.
I am hopeful that this note makes its way to all of you, and I hope that everyone is doing OK.
