Obituary of Robert W. Sweeney
Robert passed away peacefully at home after a yearlong battle with pancreatic cancer; he was 70 years old.
Predeceased by his parents Wilbur and Norma Sweeney, he is survived by his partner of 32 years, Jerry Estes, his uncle, Richard Zwerger, many cousins and his two loving cats, Junior and Big Kitty.
Rob was a man of many talents, he was a quick study, and he was always willing to share his knowledge to help others succeed. He worked as an engineering sales representative with Ronco, R.L. Kistler Incorporated and most recently with Better Power, Inc. He loved his family, his friends, his pets and his work; “retirement” was never a word in his vocabulary.
Jerry and the family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Wilmot Cancer Center, UR Thompson Hospital and Lifetime Care for their compassionate care.
Friends and family are invited to call between the hours of 4:00pm and 7:00pm on TUESDAY, May 29 with the Funeral Service at 10:00am on WEDNESDAY, May 30th all held at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. (3325 Winton Rd S). Graveside to follow at White Haven Memorial Park.
