It is with great sorrow that I write these words. I share the grief for your family's loss, for the loss of your brother, partner, father, grandfather.
We are suffering for our loss, but i know Uncle Carmen had a tremendous, positive influence on everyone. His gift to me has been real, and is eternal.
No matter my path in life, he is in my spirit. That is his eternal gift to me, and though I am overwhelmed with grief at the loss of this dear man, I am joyful for having been so deeply and profoundly touched by him and his life.

I met Carmen at the Novena for Devine Mercy at Guardian Angels. He was an inspiration to me and to all who came to know him. Heavy will be a brighter place with Carmen there. God bless him and his family.
