I worked at Kodak with Marian for many years. She was an executive secretary there and was a fantastic assistant. We both married, lived in Webster, and had our children about the same time so we got together occasionally for play dates. We lost touch when she moved to Penfield, but reconnected several years ago when she called me. I admired her very much. She was smart and hard-working. After she had that horrific stroke she worked hard to get her speech back and never gave up. We'd talk on the phone for an hour usually, bringing each other up to date and discussing world events and our old Kodak friends. I sent her a Christmas letter this year and did not hear from her so I gathered that she had slipped.
Marian was a fine lady of good character. She worked hard and got results. Her faith was strong. I'll miss her.
