Obituary of Philip Michael Fenn

Dr. Philip M. Fenn died in Pittsford NY on June 6, 2018. Phil was born in Syracuse NY in 1946. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from MIT and a PH.D in Geology from Stanford University. Phil worked for Corning Incorporated as a scientist and engineer for 25 years, retiring as a Senior Engineering Associate in 2007. In addition to his lab work, Phil enjoyed woodworking, bird watching and blues music. He was especially happy working outside, often with a chain saw or garden shovel in his hands. He will be greatly missed.

Philip is survived by his loving wife, Linda Pinckney Fenn; Children: Amanda Fenn, Molly (Karim Nassar) Fenn, Ethan (Kathrin) Fenn, and Michael Fenn; Grandchildren Tessa and Skyler Nassar, and Jonas Fenn; Mother, Jane Fenn and Brothers: Larry (Sheila) Fenn and Barry (Ruth) Fenn.
