It was my distinct pleasure to have known Ray over the last quarter of his life, although I have heard of his many accomplishments
before that. He was a fire brand and an nspirational spirit for active and retired police officers having devoted much time and resources to ARPALER and its endeavors. We thank him for his time and commitment.

Ray was my flying instructor, way back in the late 1940s. He was very patient with me and finally got me to solo. In recent times, I re-connected with him at Geriatric Pilots meetings.
He was a great guy.

Officer Hubbard as we knew him growing up in the Charlotte area, was a fine police Officer. I was hit by a car in 1954 and he transported me to Rochester General in his patrol car. He contacted my parents to see how I was doing. I'll always rtemember him as a very good person and an outstanding member of the Rochester Police Force. Rest in peace my friend,...Corwin Boddy, Ft. Pierce, FL.
