Dear family of Mary Jane. I am so sorry that I am not able to be there with you to share my sympathy and show my admiration for Mary Jane as a long time friend. I am still on Cape Cod and will not be back until October. Do you remember renting our cottage a long, long, long time ago? A lovely picture detailing sand dunes, fences, etc. still hangs in the bedroom where you left it. ( Mary Jane said it was courtesy of one of her sons.) I had lunch with Mary Jane Wheeler, Delsey, and Beth a few days ago and we reminisced about our fun and upbeat friend. I will continue to miss her at WCOP meetings where we always found something to giggle about. My heartfelt sympathy and God's kindest blessings on each of you, Ann Van Bork

Mary Jane was a special lady, sweet and lovely and I feel blessed to have known her. We were together on the St. Louis Lady's Guild, about 36 years ago. About 5 yrs. ago, a friend of ours, Peg Gough, came here to visit from NC. My husband and Peg went to pick up Mary Jane and brought her to our house, and along with Gloria Hetterich, Ellie Hockenbrock, Ce DeJoy, and Peg we had a fun reunion and lunch. I think of her now having a fun reunion with Peg, Gloria, Ellie, Molly Burden and all her friends up in heaven. So sorry for the loss of your Mom, We will keep her and your family in our prayers.
