Mrs. Kauffman taught both of my girls at Murdock Elementary. I remember her being passionate about science and getting kids excited about it. She helped my youngest prepare her science fair project for the county competition. She will be missed. The Willis family sends their condolences.

Please accept my sincere condolences:
I am so sorry to hear about Debbie. I remember her as such a sweet person. I’ve known her since elementary school—hearing about she and David through their beloved Grandmother, Mrs. Lillie from my former school (#35) I remember being so sad telling Ms. Lillie we were moving because I would miss her and after learning where we were moving to- seeing her excitement because her grandkids went to the school I would be going to. Somehow meeting Debbie and David made things a little easier and familiar because I knew who their Grandma was. She (and David) were sweet just like Mrs. Lillie.
I will always remember Debbie’s kind and beautiful nature.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
