Obituary of Joanne I Benson
Benson, Joanne I.
Victor: Died peacefully on October 15, 2015 at age 84 with her family
by her side. She is predeceased by her granddaughter, Tabitha; brother,
George Rugenstein; sister and brother in law Dorothy (Pete) Lonnerville;
son in law, Gerald DeCroce; brother in law, Ralph Boyd. She is survived
by her husband, Burdett; children, Douglas Benson, Sharon DeCroce,
Pattie (Mitch) Miles, Shirley (Jack) Flanagan, Stephen Benson; grandchildren,
Jeanne, Amber, Kelli, Melanie, Michael, Justin, Alisha, Michelle,
Michael, Brett; six great grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Phyllis)
Rugenstein, James (Barbara) Rugenstein; sister, Geraldine Boyd; sisterin-
law, Linda Rugenstein; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Family and friends are invited to call at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral
Home, 301 West Main St. / Victor, NY on SUNDAY (10/18/15) from
1:00 - 4:00 PM. Joanne’s funeral service will be celebrated in St. John’s
Lutheran Church 153 Church Ave. (Pumpkin Hook) Farmington, NY on
MONDAY (10/19/15) at 12:00 PM (Noon). Interment Pittsford Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association
