Jeff, I will always cherish the love and joy we shared. They will alway be precious and live in our hearts forever where nobody can touch them; they will forever be a part of us. Our favorite season was autumn and like the leaves of autumn--burnished gold, dusty red, muted orange , and bright yellow--they float through the air and cover the ground, a glorious tribute to what was and will be no more until we meet in heaven. Does it seem strange that God would invest such exquisite beauty in a season of dying? Consider this, that unless we are willing to celebrate the end of what we know, we will not enter into what is yet to be. It doesn't matter what we are facing, even the end of our physical life, look to the beauty in the leaves of autumn and trust God for what lies ahead including the glory of heaven. God will never disappoint us when we place our hope in Him. I know He will reunite us in heaven and that you will be there to welcome me home. As always, all my love forever and beyond. Your loving wife, Patricia.
