I grieve for one of the best men I ever knew... he made sure I was included and looked after my well being in spite of the extra challenges my disability can present to those things and, in the moments that could have been, awkward or discouraging Mr. Dailey made sure to show me a smile, encouragment, and a glimpse of life's simple joys... I can never repay that gift other than to pass Forward the support he gave me to others and especially to those who grieve his loss as I do. It seems a pale shadow of his light... and for that I apologize. .. My deepest sympathy and prayers of comfort and condolence to his family and friends. I LOVED THE MAN and I am So sorry.

Dear Terri and family,
My thoughts are with you as you grieve the loss of Jim. I am so grateful to have seen him this summer at the WVU reunion. Weak as he was, his incredible spirit of connection, honesty, wit and insight were very present. He was a wonderful man. I am grateful to have known him.

Terri Jessica and Emily, Gina, Marvin and Chuck- I hope you remember me - this is Joe Mantione, Jim's guitar playing pal and his and Chuck's frat brother - My prayers go out to all of you - he will be missed - we had many adventures from hitchhiking to Michigan to spring breaks in Florida to much guitar playing - we were ushers in one of each of our wedding(s)- glad we saw each other at the Geneseo frat reunion a couple of years ago - he once drove his boat down to Watkins Glen and took mine and my sister's family for rides - and the time we had playing music at the ZT follies - we were a big part of each other's youth and he had other good pals who are missing him - may God be with you all
