Obituary of Charles Donald Butler

Butler, Charles Donald Victor: Born November 24, 1917, passed into eternal rest May 6, 2012. Devoted husband of Betty Butler, loving father of Kathy Crough, John & Darlene Butler, Stephen & Caren Butler, Mary Butler Howie & Steve Howie, Elizabeth Butler, Jerry & Melissa Butler, Jean & Richard Lefebvre and Ralph Butler. Don's 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren will cherish his memory. He is also survived by his cousins and many nieces and nephews. Don was a graduate of Victor Central School, attended Alfred University and served as a Captain in the U.S. Army where he was awarded the Bronze Star for service in WW II. He was employed by Stone & Webster Engineering and Dow Construction Equip. Co. Don was a life-long parishioner at St. Patrick's Church. Friends may call Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Church, 115 Maple Avenue, Victor, Thursday at 10 o'clock. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Victor, NY.
