Bill, neither you nor your family may remember this, but I was 16 years old. and I remember you and Larry bought me a hunting outfit, Red plad wool. It was one of my first and few expriences into the hunting world that few people nowadays has insight into. It was something, waking up at 0400 to go hunting muriel would have coffeee, (this is before starbucks) and you would drag my ass along with larry's up the hill and into the woods. Unluckily I never shot any thing. But for larry , he continued year after year . A legacy passed on. And if I ever have the chance. I will Buy and pass on that wool suite to your grandchildren for hunting

I have many fond memories of Bill from being a coach with him and from him coaching my daughter Holly. I am so sorry I missed his celebration of life. I was out of town. I am sure it was wonderful and a great tribute to a great man. I will miss him whenever I go out to my car and see those tennis courts in the spring and fall.

The world is a sadder place with Bill's passing. I knew Bill since the early 1950's as we both attended Hamilton College and were fraternity brothers (DU). We had some great times there and I saw himm occasionally after he married his delightful wife Muriel. I made it a point to see Bill whwnever he brought his Victor tennis team to Seneca Falls to play Victor. Bill and Muriel entertained my wife Carol and me along with Jace and Mary Jane McComb and Jack and Laurie McDonald. They were special times which I will never forget. Bill was held in very high esteem by all who knew him and we both had a special conection with Camp Good Days and Special Times. Bill had a very good life surrounded by those who loved him.

Everyone, we're saddened by Bill's passing. I'm glad we were able to see him last summer.
He was, truly, a great man, a pillar of strength, and an immense role model for all.
As a young lad, I found him dashing and confident. He always made me feel special.
Sue and I were ready to leave today to come down to be with you. However, Sue's father became quite ill yesterday and is in hospital. Alas, we cannot be there.
Till we can meet next time, know that our thoughts are with all of you.
Much love, Jim and Sue.

It was a very lucky day for the Victor community when Bill Coleman became a teacher at Victor. When others of his generation migrated toward administrative duties, Bill preferred the classroom where he will be remembered as the most outstanding teacher for the students that had the privilege to be in those seats. As sad as it is to hear of Bill’s passing, I have memories of Bill that will always bring a smile. God Bless you Bill.

Sending thoughts and prayers to the Coleman family. Mr. Coleman had a great influence on my life. He introduced tennis to me around age 10 and made it very enjoyable. Later, I tried to "pay it forward" as a youth tennis instructor. He was also one of my favorite teachers, using creative ways to make social studies fun in sixth grade. Thank you for all of the fond memories and may God bless your family at this time.
