Obituary of George A. Sampson

Sampson, George A. Sr. "Dordy" Phoenix, AZ/Fishers, NY: Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on December 14, 2011, on his 88th birthday. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Betty; daughters, Beverly Sampson and Gail (Tom) Berggren; sons, James and George Sampson; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; brother, Pete (Priscilla) Sampson; sisters, Jean Smith and Florence (Tony) Mandrino. A proud World War II Army Veteran, devoted family man and friend, with a fantastic smile, humor and wit. He will stay in our hearts forever. Love you Pa! A Memorial Service will be held Monday, December 19 at 10 am, at Beatitudes Life Center, 1610 W. Glendale Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85021.
