Dear Bruce, Kim, and families,
We were out of town for Family Weekend at our son's college and were disappointed to miss Judy's service. We send deep sympathy. There is so much I appreciated about Judy. She was fun and steady and kind. She was practical and adventurous and thoughtful. She and Bruce modeled a loving marriage to which we can all aspire. Her stories about taking care of her French bulldog grand-puppy always made us smile at the Y, where she was a much-loved member. Whether she was in class, or later when she would come for easier exercise on the equipment, she brightened my day. She was asking about my kids years before we figured out that Kim connected our families. Seeing this picture of Judy in her nursing hat with a smile that matches Kim's smile makes me appreciate what a great mother she must have been. Looking back at my family's time with Miss Kim illustrates how so many of Judy's wonderful qualities live through Kim and Kim's good work. In my religion we say, "To live in hearts that love is not to die." I know Judy lives on in many loving hearts.
