Kim, Christopher and Elizabeth - my sincere condolences to all of you on the loss of your husband and father. Gene's mom and my Dad were brother and sister. Teener, as he was affectionately called in our family, had such a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face. He is now smiling down on all of you and watching over you. May he rest in heavenly peace.

Kim, Liz, Christopher, we feel your pain and loss and pray for you to find peace. Gene you were a member of our prospecting family for many years. You were our translator and scholar; word can’t describe what you mean to us. We have lost a truly great brother. Your kind and gentle soul will be deeply missed.
I know that you will be with us in Quebec and that you will always have gold in your pan. See you at the creek. Love you brother prospector.

Gene was truly "one in a million".... His many years of friendship with my father allowed us all the great pleasure to know this smart, humorous, kind, and genuine hearted man. As much as he will be missed, there is at least some small comfort knowing he is finally free from the physical body that held him, and at rest now with our Lord. ❤️

Kim, Liz, Christopher, Our deepest condolences to all of you in the passing of Gene. I have fond memories of growing up with Gene in Peoria as we were only a year apart and riding to Spalding together for three years. Gene was also the best man at our wedding. May Gene now rest in peace in the comfort of Gods arms in his heavenly kingdom. May God comfort all of you during your time of grief. God Bless you all.
