Joan Mead was one of the kindest people I have had the honor to know. Her husband Jerry and I have been colleagues and friends over many years, my condolences go out to him and Brad and Pam at this sad time. The memories were all good.
I came to know Joan at Mayflowers Garden Center. We would have pleasant conversations as she checked out her garden treasures at the register. She was always very kind to others; I found her to be very engaging. She made a difference in this world and certainly will be missed.
