Obituary of Teresa L Malone

Malone, Teresa "Terri" L. Mendon: Terri lost her long and valiant fight with cancer on Saturday, April 27, just before turning sixty years old. Her fight was brave and without complaints. Terri was the long-time owner and operator of Slender Center, a professional weight loss consulting firm. Terri held a Masters in Accountancy, but preferred helping others in their quest to lose weight and maintain a healthy life style. Two of her clients remark, "You are a true inspiration and a warrior" and "You have been an inspiration to so many people." She was a published author and motivational speaker as well as a day-to-day inspiration to her many clients who will sorely miss her. An avid golfer, Terri was one of the few women to win the car at the LPGA Hole-in-One Competition. She leaves behind her loving husband, Steven E. Malone, originally from Savannah, as well as a brother, several nieces and nephews, and many loving in-laws. Send no flowers, but join us in remembering Terri on Saturday 1:00-2:30 p.m. at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. Immediately following at 2:30 p.m., a celebration of Terri's life will be held so we may join together to honor and remember her.
