Obituary of John L. Greaves

Greaves, John L. Ionia: May 21, 2009 at the age of 84. Gone to play golf in heaven. He is survived by his wife, Mary Greaves, his daughter, Deborah (Dennis) Petrisak and granddaughter, Crystal (Caleb) Herry. After his retirement from Singer Link in Binghamton NY, John loved to play golf. He had artistic hobbies such as woodworking. He and his wife lived in Ionia for 25 years. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff at Strong and Thompson Hospital and MM Ewing Recuperation Center, for the wonderful care that they gave John. Friends are invited to call Tuesday evening 5-8 at the Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 W Main Street, Victor. Graveside service Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Pinehill Cemetery, Rt. 251, Rush.
