Obituary of Robert W. Corbin

Corbin, Robert W. Canandaigua, Honeoye, Fairport, Ontario: Passed away suddenly on October 21, 2009 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by his parents, Wesley S. and Elizabeth G. Corbin of Watertown, brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Carol (McDougall) Corbin of Cherry Hill, NJ. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon (Zimmer) Corbin, sons, Timothy J. Corbin and Todd W. Corbin and daughter, JulieAnn Gifford, granddaughters, Jordan and Jaycie Gifford, Brianna and Kayla Corbin, sister, Grace Ann Marincic, and several nieces and nephews Robert was a 2001 retiree of Xerox after 32 years of dedicated service as an Engineering Technician, Systems Engineer and Cost Analyst. He was also an active Toastmaster and held many positions in the Lilac City Toastmasters in Webster. He enjoyed horseback riding and worked with the Cebebral Palsy Association for eight years helping with their horseback riding program. He served in the U.S. Air Force and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam War. Friends may call Sunday afternoon 1-3:30 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor, where a celebration of Robert's life will follow the calling at 3:30. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at White Haven Memorial Park, Perinton.
