Denett was an amazing woman- who was kind and a great friend to many humans and horses. She has touched our lives and I know she will be in heaven waiting for us. Much love to her friends and family.

I didn't know Denett very well, I met her during a training class where I am employed and yet she made a very positive impression on me.
She did the training well and all, but the reason she stood out was both her humor and how she informed us of why she wore her hats. As she told us about her living with and batting cancer I thought that she was certainly brave and courageous handling that burden.
I'm sorry to have learned that she's passed on, but I think she deserves to be free from the pain and suffering she fought so hard to overcome. I'm sure she's in heaven and all is well for her now.
God Bless you Denett

Denett made all of the time I spent at the Granger Homestead a joy. She taught me all I know of horses and most of what I know of carriages. She let me help with harnessing Flirt, and even drive her--with Denett sitting right at my side--once or twice. My sadness at her passing is beyond words, but my memory of her presence will never fade.

Knowing Denett and the way she has touched many peoples lives, she was an angel put on this earth by God!! God has now taken my precious angel to be with him. I will cherish the times we have talked, cried, laughed, and spent together. I am happy you are no longer in pain but I will miss you dearly until we meet as angels again. To my brother John thank you for finding such a wonderful sister-in-law that I loved and was so caring, thoughtful, and generious to all that she met. She always had a smile on her face no matter what she was going through. May God be with you John! If you need to talk please call me I am here for you!!
Love your sister

I met Denett through my brother, Geoffry. I very much enjoyed her company, her love of life, and willingness to share her story with all of us as she made her journey.
I am glad she has finished her journey here on earth and has moved on to the next portion of her travels. It pains us all to see her go and to be without her now but we will eventually see her again.
Love to John and the rest of the family and friends.
