I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of this great man who I remember as always having a smile on his face whenever I would come for a visit.
Through the years I enjoyed getting to know him as "Grandpa" thru Karen and Barb, and truly enjoyed his company along with the privilege of being able to listen to many of his stories about his life in general.
For me, it was always a pleasant surprise to see that Grandpa would be visiting the home of Barb or Diane & Jim while I was also visiting, as his warmth, kindness and friendly nature always made others feel as through they knew him well.
On behalf of our family, please know that our thoughts are with your family at this time and that Grandpa will always be remembered fondly in our hearts and minds.

I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. There is comfort that can be found at Revelation 21:3,4, which says, "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Soon, losses we sustain of any kind, be it the loss of a loved one or our peace of mind, will be done away with and reversed as if it never happened at all. I hope this promise can carry you through this difficult time and beyond.

All of us here at Dick Robinson’s American Standards by the Sea
have lost a wonderful friend – a great lover of beautiful music which
he shared with everyone. We corresponded for years and he contributed many
anecdotes and small clips of special music he had collected. We
will all miss this wonderful warm man.
