Obituary of Philip N. Stagnitto

Stagnitto, Philip N. Victor: Sunday, January 5, 2014, at age 88. He leaves his cherished wife and best friend of 66 years, Catherine. He was a loving father of Linda (Thomas) Nally, Joseph (Susan) Stagnitto, Karen (Carl) Petito; devoted grandfather of Kathleen (Everett) Cragle, Debora (Jake) Hart, David (Sarah) Stagnitto, Steven (Erin) Stagnitto, Julie (Michael) Falk, Sarah (Denis) Reilly, Daniel (Genevra) Petito, Michael Petito and was adored by 20 great grandchildren; also survived by his brothers, Joseph (Gene) Stagnitto, Charles (Thelma) Stagnitto; brothers-in-law Robert (Jackie) Paparone, Dominic Paparone; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters, and 7 brothers. Friends may call Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. Philip's Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Patrick's Church, 125 Maple Avenue (NYS Rt. 444), Victor. Interment at family's convenience. In lieu of flowers, gifts in Philip's memory may be directed to Alzheimer's Association, 435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620.
