When I learned of Bob's escort from the church to the cemetery, I was reminded of one of his visits to Ligonier during their huge parade week.Bob took a short cut between floats on the Main St. Someone yelled, "Hi, Bob!" He continued for several blocks with everyone calling, "Hi,Bob", even though they didn't know him. Bob loved a parade. We loved him!

Stories about Uncle Bob's crazy antics live on among all us nieces and nephews. A visit from Uncle Bob, Aunt Rose, and whatever assortment of pets they brought was always the highlight of a summer. It's time to celebrate those memories, of which there should be no shortage among those who knew him!

I will never forget Bob, his smile, and sense of humor. The best memory of all: he brought a clicking device to a county GOP committee meeting once. Every time the main person who was running the meeting kept uttering word "ah" in a sentence, the clicker was used by Bob. In fact, Bob was told during that meeting when he was clicking that he missed an "ah."
