Obituary of Sara Louise Keller

Keller, Sara Louise Macedon: Thursday, January 23, 2014, at age 83. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert A. Keller Sr. on March 30, 1997. She is survived by her children, Roger Keller, Robert and Nanette Keller Jr., Michael and Darlene Keller, Richard and Cindy Keller; grandchildren, Lindsay Marie Keller, Sean Robert Keller, Timothy James Keller, Austin James Keller, Adam Jeffrey Keller, Jessica Paige Keller, Jacob Thomas Keller; sisters and brother-in-law, Thelma Levickas, Mary and William Getgen; many nieces and nephews. Sara Louise Elder was born on Monday, July 14, 1930, in Clearfield, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Clyde and Ella Roland Elder. She attended a one class school growing up. Sara Louise married Robert Keller Sr. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help on October 9, 1954. She had a very different nickname, Weezy. Over the years she worked at various locations: Howard Johnson, Gananda Daycare, Jim's Diner and Hill Haven. Her travels included: Florida, Hawaii and Virginia. Sara loved puzzles, knitting, word searches and collecting Donald Duck and Penguins. When Robert was still with her they would escape to go golfing every chance they could and occasionally she would receive a better score. She was known for her compassionate, loving and caring ways, always respectful and had a good sense of humor. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Her warmth, her smile and her joy in family, friends and life will be missed by all. Friends called at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. Her interment was held in St. Patrick's cemetery. Gifts in her memory may were directed to charity of one's choice.
