Obituary of Richard "Dick" W. Card Sr.

Farmington: Dick after a courageous battle died peacefully surrounded and in the arms of his loving family on Thursday, August 13, 2009, at age 65. He was predeceased by his parents, Louise and Al Card. Dick is survived by his wife Marjorie Card; children, Jenny (Bob) Mosich, Carrie (John) Unamann, Beth (Kent) Bingham, Shelle (Garrett) Fenton, Dick Jr. (Liz) Card; grandchildren, Angel, Amanda, Christine, Michael, Polly, Ceara, Kellee, Lauren, Cassie, Matt, Randi, Adam, Richard, Benjamin; brothers, Bradley Card, David Card; Mother-in-law, Nell; numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dick was a proud Vietnam Air Force Veteran and a lifetime member of the Shortsville American Legion. Family and friends may call Saturday afternoon 5-8 at Lucey-VanVoorhis Funeral Home, 301 West Main Street, Victor. A Funeral Mass celebrating Dick's life will begin Monday morning at 11 o'clock at St. Patrick's Church, Victor. Private interment will follow Mass.
