Obituary of Harold F. Maass

Maass, Harold F. Pittsford: Harold Maass passed Sunday, February 13, 2011, in the presence of his beloved wife of 63 years, Julianna; he leaves behind his sons, Ronald, Robert and Richard (Susan Ives) Privitera; grandson, Brian (Cara Southerland) Maass; nephew, Roger (Maryann) Andersen; as well as many wonderful friends and acquaintances. Harold proudly served during WWII as an N.C.O. in India. Upon his return at the conclusion of the war was introduced by his father to his future bride and was blessed with 63 years of marriage. He purchased and built a successful insurance company until his retirement 30 years ago. Harold always had time and a good word for all and was someone you could count on through good times and bad. His joy in family, friends and life will be missed by all that touched his life. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 at White Haven Memorial Park, All Season's Chapel, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford. Gifts in Harold's memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
