Rosemary Lytle Smith

1927–2018

Rosemary Smith passed away September 27, 2018. She was born October 4, 1927 in Angelica, NY, the third child of John Gray Lytle and Myrtie Jane (Bacon) Lytle. She is survived by David William Smith, her husband of 68 years; four children: Shirley Smith (Luis Lavandera), Doug (Kris) Smith, Pam (Ed) Clarke and Alan (Amy) Smith; eight grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Charles Lytle and sister Marilyn Donovan.

Calling hours will be Monday October 1st from 2-3 PM at Rush UMC, 6200 Rush Lima Rd., Rush, NY 14543, where her service will be held at 3 pm, followed by a reception in the church hall. Burial will be 1 pm Tuesday October 2nd at Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract, NY. Memorials may be made to Rush United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice.
