Obituary of Stephanie M. Smith Albert
STEPHANIE MICHELLE SMITH ALBERT
Our beautiful angel went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2018.
An alumna of National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) in Rochester, NY, Stephanie was born on May 28, 1968, and raised in Dayton, OH. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Wright State University in Marketing and her Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Gallaudet University. Stephanie was the first Director of Diversity and Inclusion at the NTID.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Tim Albert, her mother Florence Tyson, fathers Everett B. Smith Sr. and Richard Tyson, twin sisters Jeannette Travis (Courtney Travis) and Jeannine Smith Pippins (Derrick Pippins), sisters Evette Pryor (Doug Pryor Sr.), Tanisha McLemore (Eric Means) and brother Everett B. Smith Jr.
She also leaves behind her mother-in-law, Floyd Lee Albert; three sisters-in-law, Tonia Tate, Tausha Thompson (DeMorris Thompson II), and Benita Lewis (Will); two brothers-in-law, Brian Albert (Julie) and Randy Albert (Erica). She also leaves behind a host of beloved colleagues, her loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, special friends, and her dog, Lucky.
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, October 9th from 5-8 PM at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. Stephanie’s Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 10th at 11AM the Father’s House, Greece Campus, 150 Bellwood Drive. Entombment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Rochester.
